Ellen Feig

A former lawyer and television executive for almost fifteen years, I came to teaching via a long and winding road. At forty, after surviving breast cancer which was supposed to kill me, it became clear that the only thing I wanted to spend my life doing was teaching. Since that epiphany, teaching has been both my livelihood and passion. On the side I've worked with many not for profit organizations on the issues of global poverty and have been a Carl Wilkens Fellow at United to End Genocide and a Griot Fellow at ONE.
