I recently earned a Ph.D. in Medieval and Early Modern Jewish Studies from the Graduate School at JTS, with a dissertation on a book of letters preserving the Maimonidean controversy of 1304-1306. I first learned web programming and its applications to academic research as an undergraduate studying literature at NYU, and my experiences assistant-teaching undergraduates at JTS have demonstrated to me the importance of new technologies to making materials accessible and facilitating research skills. I am interested in the methodological possibilities offered to researchers by digital humanities, as well as the use of technology to collect, store, and present content knowledge to scholars and students alike in varied disciplinary backgrounds.
